Nairobi woman strips during anti-IEBC protest (Photo)

She was caught on live TV racing along University Way before stripping in frenzy.

During the anti-IEBC protest that went down on Tuesday, one lady shocked many after she ran along University Way before bending over and taking off her underwear and mooning the cameraman, presumably in protest.

Though rare in Kenya, stripping is a widely used as a mode of protest in other countries like in Argentina for example where women staged a nude protest outside the Argentinian national congress over the country's attitude towards the female body.

“We want to promote the acceptance of being naked as natural, and not as something perverse or sexual. We frown on seeing a woman’s breasts but if a man (takes off his shirt) nobody is surprised” One of the protestors told Argentinian newspaper Larazon.

Closer home, in Uganda a Makerere lecturer Stella Nyanzi famously staged a naked protest after getting evicted from her office following orders by an executive director at the Makerere University.
