Jubilee MP beats up wife in public [VIDEO]

In a video widely shared, the MP's vehicle is later seen attempting to plough through a crowd which was standing by the road.

In a nearly two minute long video widely shared online, Mr Waluke is seen pushing away with wife, after which she held the door of the vehicles, but was brushed down by the vehicle window.

“Mheshimiwa wachana na yeye. Anataka aje sasa jamani, si ataumizwa tu jamani..,” another woman is heard shouting from the crowd.

Loosely translated: “Leave her alone, what does she want, she will be hurt instead.”

The lawmakers vehicle would later speedily leave, but later return to plough into a crowd which was standing on the side of the road to witness the rare scene.

While Pulse Live Kenya cannot confidently reveal the identity of the woman being assaulted, the lawmaker is said to be having ‘several wives’ and is not clear what the standoff was about.

Victory challenged

Meanwhile, Ford Kenya's candidate Levi Makali challenged Mr Waluke’s August 8 polls victory arguing that the election was marred by a myriad of irregularities. Mr Waluke was accused of voter bribery even during the voting day.

He said Waluke instigated violence and intimidation on voters before and on the voting day.

Makokha told the court that there were major alterations of the results from various polling stations to his favour Waluke.

Waluke is being represented by senior counsel Kitwa Kagen and Nairobi High courts advocate Antonina Muyoka.
