Man sues KRA and KEBS over a 'faulty' condom which burst while in action

His wife later left him after she contracted a STD and accused him of cheating

A man has sued Beta Healthcare, KEBS and KRA over a faulty condom brand bearing KEBS quality mark of assurance.

According to an affidavit, he claims that as a responsible man, he took it upon himself to protect both his woman and himself by engaging in protected sex. He therefore used his favorite brand of chocolate scented condoms.

He goes ahead to claim that the condom burst during the deed and he only realized it after completing the act. He also went ahead to document the batch number of the packet of the condoms.

Rashes

Nine days later, as he claims, he started developing rashes in his private parts and he sought the services of a traditional healer who gave him some medicine which eased his pain, albeit momentarily.

As he was travelling on a bus at a later time, he fell seriously sick and had to go to a clinic where to his shock he was diagnosed with an STI (Sexually transmitted disease)

Matters took a turn for the worse when his wife also contracted an STI and she accused him of infidelity. She left him for another man because she could not keep up with his apparent ‘cheating’

Depression

He sunk into depression and sought solace in alcohol and as a result lost his job.

When he conducted due diligence, he stumbled upon some information which seemed to purport that the packet he bought was likely to have been from a batch that failed quality tests and was declared unfit for the intended use by the National Drug Authority.
