Antique Chinese bowl sells for Sh3.9 billion at auction

Got Sh4 billion to spare? Buy a 900 year old Chinese bowl.

The Ru-ware bowl fetched a heart stopping Sh3.9 billion ($38m).

The small blue-green glazed bowl with an ice crackle finish was used to wash calligraphy and paint brushes.

The bowl broke the previous record for most expensive Chinese ceramics sale which was held by a 500 year old imperial chicken eggcup from the Ming dynasty.
