12-year-old boy charged in Nanyuki court for sodomising 5 boys

He threatened to kill them should they resist his advances

In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old boy was on arraigned in a Nanyuki court for allegedly sodomising five pupils.

He appeared before Nanyuki Resident Magistrate Damacline Bosibori and was charged with sexually assaulting three boys aged 9 and 10 years between June 16 and July 23 this year at Ruai village in Laikipia County. He denied the allegations.

According to the prosecution, the accused was preying on the minors while they were playing in a school field during lunch break.

Gorge out eyes

In one incident which happened on June 16, the accused allegedly got hold of two boys and dragged them to nearby bush where he threatened to gorge out their eyes if they didn’t cooperate and then assaulted them.

He is also said to have sodomised other boys on July 16 after threatening to kill them should they resist his advances according to a report by Citizen.

However on July 24, one of the boys that he had sodomized reported the case to his teacher and after investigations others came forward with their ordeal.

Police brought in

Parents of the victims reported the issue to the police after they were informed of the sickening ordeal.

The court directed the accused be taken to Nanyuki Teaching and Referral hospital for age assessment and will be arraigned in court on Friday, August 3.
