This letter from a mum to her 13 year old son is giving us parenting goals

Most of us gave our parents a hard time while we were growing up. But those urges were always “cured” by the belt, the slipper, the wire or whatever your mother could wield as a weapon.

Nowadays though, such methods may be ineffective or frowned upon.

But this mum has shown us how to keep your kid in line without raising a fist. She defeated her son 10-0 and we can bet our future mega jackpot winnings that he will never repeat his indiscretions.

Knowing our African mums though, if they’d written this letter to us, they wouldn’t have made negotiations possible.
