God 'anoints' Raila with mysterious sign

A ring of fire around the sun fascinated Kenyans.

A ring of fire surrounded the sun just after the oath ceremony at Uhuru Park where Raila was sworn in as the 'People's President'. Many saw this as proof that God has anointed Raila.

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga arrived at Uhuru Park, the venue of his controversial swearing-in after several hours of delay.

He proceeded to the dais and took the oath as the People's President with the help of Canadian-based lawyer Miguna Miguna and Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang.

He was in the company of Siaya Senator James Orengo and businessman Jimi Wanjigi. Also in attendance was Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.

However, while addressing his followers the former Prime Minister divulged that his co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka could not take the oath today.

He mentioned that his supporters will be informed on a later day why Mr. Musyoka skipped the event.
