The event is held every year

According to The Mirror, the Sadhu- a holy man from the Hinduism tradition- was recorded pulling a truck tied to his genitalia with a rope.

The event begins in January and Sadhus mark the day naked according to their customs. This occasionally involves pulling heavy objects with their penises as a sign of strength.

The 45 day event has attendees bathing in the waters of Sangam, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers on specific dates.

Sadhus are wandering holy men who have rejected materialism and instead seek spiritual enlightenment so as to break the cycle of reincarnation.

They only walk around in modest clothes or fully nude- relying on the kindness of strangers.
