Man arrested for attempting to steal an ambulance
The suspect had an army uniform which had a captain rank insignia.
The Southern Police Spokesman Lameck Kigozi confirmed that upon arrest, Musaasizi who claimed to be a boda boda operator revealed that he was hired by two men to take them to Kalisizo town.

According to Mr Kigozi, the two men reportedly told the suspect that they wanted him to assist them steal the ambulance from Kalisizo Hospital.
Mr Kigozi divulged that the suspect was in possession of fake number plates. The suspect also had an army uniform which had a captain rank insignia.
Army
He said the suspect was handed over to the army at Kasijjagirwa Barracks for interrogation since he was possessing an army uniform yet he is not a serving army officer.
Possessing the uniform contravenes the UPDF Act, according to Mr Kigozi.
