The assailant was released on a Sh20,000 cash bail.
It is reported that the two casual labourers had visited Wegner demanding for their dues.
According to police the two arrived at the company’s premises in the morning only to be told that they had been fired for having not shown up at work the previous day.
As they were arguing with the security guards who had denied them access the premises, the accused allegedly arrived and told the two off for not to reporting to work.
In their defence, they claimed that it was Sunday and they were in Church. Amidst the argument, Thomas allegedly turned hostile and pounced on them with blows and kicks leaving them with serious injuries.
Realizing that staying longer could have attracted more violence, it is alleged that the two fled and reported the assault case to police who arrested Thomas.
He was arraigned before a magistrate at the Makadara Law Courts where he denied assaulting the two.
Thomas was released on Sh20,000 cash bail. The case is to be heard on July 26th.
