Major Blow for Kalonzo Days to Presidential Election

NASA leader Kalonzo Musyoka has suffered a major blow just days to the repeat elections after....

Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar on Thursday resigned from his position as Wiper Secretary General.

Omar cited "deep rooted" reasons as the cause of him quitting his powerful post in Wiper Party.

The move is a big blow for Musyoka as Omar has been one of his most vocal supporters ever since the launch of the Wiper Party.

Omar has maintained a low profile ever since his defeat in the Mombasa Gubernatorial race.

The former Wiper Secretary General came in third with 43,790 votes against Governor Hassan Joho's 221,363 votes.

Jubilee's Suleiman Shahbal came in second with 69,429 votes.
