The meetings came at the request of IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati who sought to resolve some of the issues that have been raised by presidential candidates.
First to arrive was Odinga who arrived at the Bomas of Kenya att 11.30, accompanied by his running mate Kalonzo
Musyoka, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Senators Moses Wetangula and James Orengo, among other officials in the NASA Secretariat.
While some Kenyans had expected the two candidates to be at Bomas at the same time, President Uhuru Kenyatta had not arrived by 1pm and was instead spotted in Machakos Town at the burial of area MP Victor Munyaka's father.
It has now emerged that President Kenyatta's appointment with the IEBC commissioners was scheduled for 3pm.
Chebukati had indicated that the meeting was strictly meant for presidential candidates but it remains unclear if Kenyatta will eventually make his way to the Bomas of Kenya or will send his officials.
The United States Government had on Monday called upon the two political parties to engage the IEBC in structured talks that would ensure a credible electoral process.
