In Bomet County, the incumbent governor and NASA Principal Isaac Ruto is trailing Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso with 82943 votes (32.66%). Laboso has 170981 votes which translate to 67.34%.
In Kiambu, Ferdinand Waititu has garnered 712431 votes at 78.21% while the incumbent William Kabogo is at a distant second with 190985 votes (20.97%).
Peter Anyang’ Nyong’o is leading with 249414 votes (63.38%) ahead of the incumbent governor Jacton Ranguma, who has 140101 votes (35.6%).
In Kirinyaga County, former Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Devolution and Planning Ann Waiguru is commanding lead with 139483 votes translating to 54.02% ahead of the incumbent Joseph Ndathi, who is at position four with 1.54%. Martha Karua is second with 40.89%.
Mike Mbuvi Sonko is ahead of incumbent Evans Kidero with 53.46% of counted votes as the latter collects 42.89%.
Igamba N’gombe MP Muthomi Njuki has also floored Tharaka Nithi governor Samuel Rwgwa by garnering 109860 votes (69.06%) as Ragwa comes second with 46770 votes (29.4%).
