Identity of 2 Senior Police Officers Behind Meru Chaos Today Revealed

Here are they are

Speaking at Wilson Airport, Mr. Odinga alleged that an OCPD and OCS who he only identified as Kimani and Wamae respectively, were behind the violence witnessed in Laare.

According to the Former Prime Minister, the two officers organized gangs which disrupted NASA supporters waiting for them to arrive at the venue.

He noted that the officers said that they had received orders from above. The NASA leader accused Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet of being behind the orders that saw his Meru political rally canceled.

Mr. Odinga highlighted that the officers allowed his innocent supporters to be teargassed.

The Opposition leaders were supposed to have a rally at Laare Town, an area perceived to be a stronghold of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s party Jubilee.

Jubilee and NASA supporters clashed before the said meeting.

Roads were barricaded and the podium Odinga was to use during the rally burnt down.
