It has all the needed nutrients for the baby to grow. But besides being a healthy delicacy for the baby, it has other amazing uses. And because mothers, at times produce more than their babies can consume, there is no need allowing it to go to waste.

So, here are just a few things that you could do with breast milk:

1. Diaper rash

Diaper rash is common among babies. Before rushing your baby to the hospital for treatment, you could try breast milk as a home remedy at first. Wash the affected area first before rubbing breast milk on it. After some hours, the rash will disappear. But if it doesn’t, just see a doctor. You could also use it to treat itchiness and bug bites.

2. Eye discharge

Sometimes, babies suffer from blocked tear ducts leading to eye discharge. While this problem can resolve on its own, you may want to speed up the healing process using breast milk. Just put a drop in the affected eye and the discharge should disappear. But if the discharge raises concerns, ensure to visit a doctor since it could lead to a bad infection if not well addressed.

3. Clearing acne

With all the pregnancy hormones and now breastfeeding, your skin may break out. And as crazy as it may sound, breast milk contains lauric acid which contains microbial properties. So if you really don’t mind using your baby’s food on your face, you could give it a try and see what happens. No harm trying, right?

4. Chapped lips

Wait, do you even have the time to take care of your lips while the baby is all over you? Anyways, that’s no excuse to neglect your lips. You got an all-natural lip balm right with you. Mix the milk with some coconut oil and rub it gently on your lips regularly. That will be the end of chapped lips.

5. Ear infections
