6 secrets to staying young forever

Kataa uzee

You see, ageing is inevitable but there is a way you can grow older but still maintain your sweet 16 looks.

We have all seen people who are barely 30 but look like they are in their 40s. We have also seen people who are in their 70s but no one believes it because they look much younger.

1. Don’t stress

Life is way too short to sulk and anyway, it’s never that serious. Have as much fun as you can, be around those who make you happy and enjoy living life. Stress eats up your emotional well being as well as your physical wellness. Instead, learn to laugh even at the most stupid things because it’s the best medicine.

2. Hit the gym

A youthful look does not just come, you have to work for it. Make exercise your every day routine and you will soon get used to it. Studies have shown that vigorous exercise can slow aging by close to a decade.

3. Plenty of water

I can’t stress this enough even though it seems so obvious. For a youthful look, your body must always be hydrated. Plenty water makes your skin supple giving you a younger and healthier skin. When the body is dehydrated, the skin becomes dry and wrinkled.

4. Use your brain

Your brain too needs exercise for it to remain younger. You either use it or lose it. Always do things that put your brain to work such as puzzles, sudokus, word play and brain games that keep you thinking.

5. Have more sex!

Scientists say that you can look 5-7 years younger if you got busier in the sheets. Sex triggers the release of human growth hormones which makes the skin more elastic. Sexual satisfaction is also ranked as one of the major contributors to having a quality life.

6. Watch your diet

Do more of vegetables, fruits, natural juices, grains and less of junks and processed foods. Fruits and vegetables are rich in antioxidants that protect the skin from cellular damage. Red wine, green tea, fatty fish, virgin oil and avocados will also give you a youthful look.
