The unfinished braids trend has always intrigued me. I first saw it on Beyonce during her Lemonade world tour, so, it's not really a new trend but it's definitely one that we can try out.

This trend has also been rocked by other fashion icons such as Solange Knowles and Zoe Kravitz. If I’m gonna be honest, I really don’t quite know the name of these braids. I call them unfinished braids cause that’s what they really are, albeit I did come across a fashion blog that referred to them as tied knot braids, and another that called them braids with loose ends. Welp, whatever the terminology, we do know that this basically means braids that are braided halfway then knotted up.

I think it’s a pretty fancy style and you can have them done on cornrows, box braids or even micro or medium sized braids. And, as a plus, you can tie the hair into a top knot or back ponytail for a different look.

Perhaps the only problem is that some people are allergic to synthetic hair and the unfinished hair can start irritating the skin. But if synthetic hair does not affect you in any way, then you should probably try out this style.
