Since it has been revealed that sex isnt really a workout, its surprising to think that sex may be an activity that helps you live longer.

Recent scientists studied women who have sex at least once a week and their findings were amazing. While sex does have amazing health benefits, in this instance, the advantage is physiological.


In your DNA is a strand protector called the telomere. As you age, the telemore grows shorter.

However, in women who were sexually active, the telomere was observed to be significantly longer.

With a longer telomere, you're less likely to develop a degenerative disease or suffer physiologically related premature death.

Unfortunately, there was no cause-and-effect observed between sexual activity and the length of the telomere.

But people may as well go ahead and "engage" with their partners like they're afraid of dying young. Couldn't hurt.
