1. Nail brightener.
Sometimes, our nails get discolored from some nail polishes. Lucky for us, we can use apple cider vinegar to brighten them. Pour equal parts apple cider vinegar and water then soak your nails in the solution and rinse it off after 30 minutes. This also helps treat nail infections, so it makes for a great nail soak.
2. Spot treatment.
If you feel like a zit is coming up, dab some apple cider vinegar on that spot. The enzymes and the PH balancing action makes for an effective spots treatment. This will also help cleanse the area and keep it free from bacteria.
3. Hair rinse.
Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water and put it in a spray bottle. Spritz the mixture all over your hair after shampooing. The vinegar will help condition and strengthen the hair shaft and also balance your hair’s PH level. Massage your scalp and let it sit in for 30 minutes before rinsing it off.
4. Ingrown hair treatment.
After waxing or shaving off your hair, you may notice some small bumps on your skin. Now, the anti-inflammatory properties in apple cider vinegar can help reduce the inflammation and soothe the skin. Simply apply apple cider vinegar on the area using a cotton ball and let the skin absorb it. This will also soften the skin and help unclog the pores so that the ingrown hair can grow out more easily.
5. Facial toner.
Apple cider vinegar is one of the best natural toners out there. Mix two parts water with one part apple cider vinegar and apply this to your face using a cotton ball. Apple cider vinegar is rich in alpha hydroxy acids which help exfoliate the skin and increase the blood flow.
6.Makeup brush cleaner.
It’s important to clean your makeup brushes every once in a while, so as to rid them off bacteria that may be present. The anti-bacterial properties in apple cider vinegar will help to clean and disinfect the dirty brushes. Mix a quarter cup of water with one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and soak your brushes for a few minutes then rinse them off.
7. Skin smoother.
Apple cider vinegar also helps smoothen the skin by tightening the pores and exfoliating dead skin cells. Add a few drops of apple cider vinegar when applying your lotion and apply this all over your skin.
8. Foot soak.
Apple cider vinegar also makes an amazing foot soak because it helps to soften and exfoliate dead skin. Mix 2 parts water with one part apple cider vinegar and soak your feet for 10-15 minutes. This will not only leave your feet feeling really soft but it’s also a great treatment for odor and fungal infection.
