Here are home-made solutions to treat Dry skin:

1. Egg and honey facial mask for dry skin
Add a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of sunflower oil with the white of one egg in a bowl and mix them till they thicken slightly. Spread the mixture onto the face and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Rinse it off afterwards with warm water.
Honey has strong antibacterial properties and hydrates skin, locking the moisture to give it a soft feel. The bright yellow egg yolk contains water and fats that not only nourish and hydrate your skin but also work to lock in moisture.
2. Banana, yoghurt and honey dry skin face mask
Put 2 fully ripe bananas, a tablespoon of honey and 125 ml of yoghurt in a blender. Blend the ingredients together to form a uniform paste. Apply the paste onto the face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. When it dries up rinse it with warm water.
3. Cucumber and Aloe Vera Face Mask
Peel a cucumber and place it in a blender. Add two tablespoons of aloe vera to the blender. Blend the ingredients together to form a mixture. Smear the mixture onto your face and leave it for 25-30 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.
4. Avocado and Honey for dry skin
Mash ½ soft, ripe avocado into a creamy pulp in a bowl. Stir the pulp in two tablespoons of honey to form a paste. Apply the paste onto the face and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse it off with a washcloth.
5. Aloe Vera and Avocado face mask
The natural face mask works to hydrate and soften dry skin.
Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, ½ ripe avocado (eat the other half), 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of almond or coconut oil and 1 ½ teaspoon of dry oatmeal.
Mash the avocado in a bowl till it forms a consistent pulp which has no lumps. Stir in the aloe vera gel, runny honey, coconut oil and oatmeal. Mix the ingredients together to form a uniform paste. Wash your face meticulously. Wipe and immediately apply the paste. Let the paste remain for 15 minutes.
Rinse the face with warm water and if need be apply a moisturizer on the moist skin.
Oatmeal is rich in anti-inflammatory properties and amino acids that help repair and heal skin. Oatmeal can effectively treat red, itchy skin. It removes dead skin cells and dirt from skin while also moisturizing and soothing it.
6. Milk Facial Mask for Dry Skin
Raw-milk is a good moisturizer that hydrates dry skin. Take a teaspoon of powdered milk, 1 tablespoon runny honey, 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel and 2 drops of an organic essential oil. Mix the ingredients together well and apply onto the face. Let it sit for about 15-20 minutes and rinse it off with warm water.
