I cut this off my diet now my vagina smells amazing

It started as a simple smelly discharge, I thought was a sexually transmitted disease. Only I didn’t understand how when I was with only one partner in a relationship that had seen more condoms than it had seen shared meals. I went to the doctor a few times and months later, holding pee in was no longer an option.

Dealing with incontinence left me a sob potato who’s once vibrant and outgoing personality changed to a devastatingly insecure and low self-esteemed, human who would never go out with less than three packed panties and a change of clothes just in case my lady parts started gushing unexpectedly.

Needless to say I gave up on the medication. I started digging for deeper health problems like kidney or renal infections. Different doctors gave different results meaning that I would jump in and out of different X ray machines, and a nightmare series of blood and urine tests only for me fall sick shortly after the medication.

My salvation came in the form of my old Indian neighbor, a retired health nutritionist, who witnessed one my many embarrassing moments when I pissed on myself as I struggled to unlock my door and rush to the bathroom.

I was devastated that my humiliation had found its way to my estate. Luckily, this heaven sent angel didn’t run off to chatter with my fellow ‘jiranis’ about what she had just seen. Instead, she sent me long message on how to handle my problem.

IT WORKED!

Besides apologizing in her text about what happened to me, she added a one sentence tip that changed my life for the better.

“… Lay off the sugar and watch your diet...”

At first I brushed it off. I mean, how in the heavens will dropping sugar help my situation? I have always been a watchful eater who tries to count her calories.

It took a week of very smelly discharge for me to finally try it out. I was desperate.

Two weeks in and I noticed a major difference. No longer was I rushing off to the toilet after every cup of me, my panties were getting less messed up by the end of the day.

With this as an inspiration, I quit dairy, cheese, all sorts of candy and reduced my chocolate intake to minimum. (My last bar of After Eight chocolate was three months ago) I supplemented this with fresh fruits and juices. (Pineapples and Cranberries work ladies! Treat yourself and your man)

Now, I can’t remember the last time I had BV or UTI. It’s been over a year and I’m loving it!
