4 reasons why men need to take cold showers instead of hot

Men, here’s why you should shower with cold water!

For most women, it’s not an option. I can’t even fathom taking a cold shower to be honest, I think I would rather heat water and use a basin or use wet wipes till I get hot water (sorry for the TMI) LOL. Anyway…unlike women, a majority of men find cold showers quite invigorating and in fact, men need to take cold showers as they are good for them and here’s how:

1. More testosterone.

Many people think that this is a myth but truth of the matter is, warm showers, a dip in the bath tub or even ten minutes spent in the sauna is worse for your testosterone levels. In fact, a study published in the Journal of Reproductive Systems shows that the best temperature for your balls is 31 to 36 degrees, yet our average shower temperatures range between 108 to 112 degrees, meaning, you’re overheating your balls. Another interesting study shows that men have higher sperm quality, volume and motility in the colder moths of the year compared to the warmer ones, an indication of testicular health and the healthier your testicles are, the more promising your testosterone production is which is great for muscle growth, high libido, and having great energy levels throughout the day.

2. Improved circulation.

Circulation is kind of a big deal because it’s crucial for building muscle and having sex; two things that most men live by! Good blood circulation helps deliver more oxygen to your muscles when exercising and this delays the process of lactic acid buildup and allows you to perform better than you would with poor circulation, allowing for greater opportunity for muscle growth and can even help you lift more weight. Speaking of great circulation, we all know that blood is needed down there for erection so a quick tip would be a cold shower sex. Anyone keen on that?

3. Fertility boost.

Cold showers can be a potentially good option for men struggling with fertility. A study published by the University of California shows men who stopped taking regular hot baths increased sperm count by 491%.

4. To help get your morning erection.
