This simple DIY recipe will surely make you feel a lot less miserable.

Honey, lemon and ginger tea (Dawa)

This recipe is one of the easiest and more common recipes you can use to beat the flu.

Ingredients

¼ cup of ginger

3 Lemons

1 tablespoon of honey

How to make it

Peel the ginger, cut it into small pieces or leave it whole and pound it using a pestle and mortar.

Slice the lemon into quarters or in whichever style of your liking

Transfer the ginger and the sliced lemons into a sufuria/pot and add water.

Place the mixture on heat for about 20-30 minutes on low heat.

Sieve the mixture into a different container of your choice.

Add honey to taste.

*You can add a cinnamon stick or ground cinnamon in the third step to add more flavor to your drink.
