Teen model Imari Karanja continues to shine abroad after a feature on Vogue Korea

She was born to Kenyan parents in America

If you're a lover of all things fashion, then you have probably come across teen model, Imari Karanja.

Imari was born in 2001 in Massachusetts to Kenyan parents and didn't think of modeling till her mother successfully nudged her to give it a try. In 2016, Imari got signed by Metropolitan Modeling Agency in Paris and landed her first job in 2017 during the New York Fall Fashion Week. For Imari, her first ever job was strutting for big names in the fashion industry such as Marc Jacobs, Prada and Dior, a serendipity that many aspiring models dream of.

After having a successful year last year, her year is off to a great start as she's already walked for the likes of Versace, quickly proving that she's a force to be reckoned with. In addition, she's boasting of a fashion spread in Vogue Korea, March 2018 edition. Not too shabby for a 17 year old huh?
