Zari's fashion choices during her Kenyan visit - Hit or Miss?

We have seen her slay better than this

The purpose of the concert was to spread cancer awareness, talk about women issues including motherhood as well as other challenges faced by women.

The busy bee also attended several TV interviews and made club appearances at popular upscale clubs, B-Club and Kiza. And even had time to hang out with socialite friend, Vera Sidika. But, we gotta talk about her fashion choices.

Now, don't get me wrong, Zari is one stylish lady in fact, I'm not sure I have ever seen her in an outfit that failed to impress and that's why when I saw photos from her Nairobi visit, I was left wondering "That outfit? Really? Of all your stylish clothes?"

Zari probably has a wardrobe full of stylish designer dresses. Yes, we are well aware that she was coming for a CSR project but still, she should've brought her fashion A-game like she always does. This time round, if we are being honest, she failed to impress:

Here's why:

1. This shimmery dress just looks cheap and like something straight out of Moi Avenue couture.

We love the shoes and bag though. I think she was going for a shimmery club look but failed horribly. I mean, look at the hemline...

What she could've worn instead. A chic jumpsuit that's trendy and modern.

2. As for the gown look, does anyone else think she could've done better?

The length and silhouette is not flattering at all, not to mention the dull colors. It was probably an okay outfit for the concert; we see how she incorporated the pop of color purple but for the club, guuuuurl, you could've definitely changed into something club friendly.

What she could've worn instead.

A power suit with a dash of purple maybe a purple shoe or clutch to go with the concert theme. A power suit can pull a double duty from event to club as pant suits are stylish and head turning.

3. During the opening of the cancer screening station, she wore this army green bandage dress.

Didn't those stop being fashionable when Vera Sidika was still dark skinned?

What she could've worn instead.

Something that merges style and comfort like this edgy ensemble.

4. For the Interview with Adelle and Shaffie, she wore this flirty turquoise dress and a trendy throw over duster coat.

She completed the look with designer shoes and a designer bag which helped spruce up the look entirely. We definitely love this look; it's effortlessly stylish and more "Zari".
