Before you give up on dieting completely you can try out these tricks that can help you handle those pesky cravings that will not let you prosper.
Drink water
Dehydration can easily be confused for hunger and being on a diet can easily make you lose your mind.
Whenever you feel hungry while on a diet, you can try drink some water to help calm down those cravings.
You also get the benefits of hydration as a plus.
Eat healthy snacks
Have a couple of healthy snacks such as freshly cut carrots, apples and pears to help you get through the day.
Fruits and vegetables are low in calories and rich in fiber which makes them the perfect snack for when you are on a diet.
Do not skip meals
You are already on a diet, don’t push it by skipping a meal. Have three balanced meals – meaning a carbohydrate, protein and fat- that will help you get through the day.

Take on a new activity such as walking or reading a book to help take your mind off the fact that you are hungry. As long as it keeps you out of the kitchen just do it.

Research has shown that sleep deprivation influences hunger and appetite. Adjust your sleep routine so that you get a good eight hours of sleep every day.
