Italian restaurant’s offensive Eid Mubarak post that has angered Kenyans

Picazzo Restaurant recently wished Muslims Eid Mubarak but made one grave mistake, they posted a picture of a whole roasted suckling pig.

Understandably, the restaurant has received fierce backlash and threats of a boycott after the unbelievably offensive post. Here are just some of the reactions :

And now the restaurant has issued an apology over the inappropriate posting, part of which reads:

The circumstances leading to the posting are currently under investigation and we are treating the matter with the seriousness it deserves, as the posting went against our corporate policy. As investigations progress, we unreservedly and sincerely with to apologise to our Muslim brothers and sisters. We reiterate that the management of Picazzo deeply regrets the inappropriate posting and the harm caused.
