Here are the 10 most expensive foods in the world.


1.Kobe beef

The Japanese Kobe beef is one of the most expensive meat as it goes for around $600 (about 62,000 shillings) per kilo.

It is mostly known for its marble like look.

2.Kopi Luwak coffee

The Kopi Luwak coffee has to be digested and secreted by the palm civet and that is basically why it is that expensive. It goes for around 113,000 shillings per kilo.

3.Swallow’s Nest soup

This soup is basically bird saliva – specifically the swallow hence the name. It is created from hardened strands of the swallow’s saliva and comes in a variety of colours.
