Dr. Pimple Popper Digs Out a 'Mystery Cyst' in New Instagram Video

In a new video, Dr. Pimple Popper reveals the 'mystery cyst' she originally referenced in a procedure published on Tuesday. Using a combination of her punch tool and a pair of surgical scissors, she removes the cyst from the patient's cheek. She is also careful to remove the cyst's sac, a step that helps keep it from regrowing.

Dr. Pimple Popper 'Punches' a Mystery Cyst

Dr. Pimple Popper isn't usually one for cliffhangers, but in a video published yesterday about a mole removal procedure, she happened to spot a second growth on the patient's cheek that may or may not have been a cyst.

In today's installment, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MDreveals that the small lump was indeed a pretty standard cheek cyst, which she immediately removed.

In the clip, Dr. Pimple Popper uses her trusty punch tool to create a round opening on the surface of the skin, which she then operates on using what appears to be a small pair of surgical scissors. Using those scissors, she delicately removes the cyst, complete with its sac wall, a step that helps ensure the cyst won't simply reappear.

The patient, for his part, doesn't seem too bothered by this development: As Dr. Pimple Popper finishes up the procedure, he wonders aloud if it's possible to get a copy of the video.

"If you want a real copy, you can," Dr. Lee assures him, "but you're going to be YouTube famous." She then pauses and adds, "But you'd better not peak here."
