The answer is kind of complicatedMcAdams is singing in most of the songs, but her voice was combined with the voice of Molly Sandn, a Sweden at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. Savan Kotecha, the movies music producer, told Vulture that having Sandn performed the tracks and McAdams also recorded the songs, and then the files were blended together by the film mixers. However, the song that McAdams sings when she's at the piano in the hotel room (the finale song "Husavik") is said to solely be her voice.
But in an interesting twist, it seems like Sandn is unconvinced about the blend of her and McAdams' voices. While Kotecha told Vanity Fair that "Sandn and McAdams's tones worked so well together that he had a hard time differentiating between the vocals," Sandn told VF that she was unsure if the vocals had actually been mixed. "If they say so, maybe thats the truth. But I just know that I didnt really hear [McAdams] in the soundtrack...maybe its mixed in somewhere," Sandn revealed.
