The 90s-set film from directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck is expected to follow Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, as she seeks to navigate an intergalactic war between two alien worlds. A trailer released last year promised a wild ride, with Larsons Air Force pilot-turned-superhero throwing down with a super strong old lady on a bus, fighting in outer space, and gabbing with Samuel L. Jacksons Nick Fury. Larson for the role, undergoing an in an effort to both look and feel the part of the strongest hero in the Marvel universe.
