How to conquer mid-week blues at the workplace

How to get rid of Tuesday slumps

The worst thing about Tuesdays is that you still have the amazing weekend’s memories and you still have a whole three days before the next weekend rolls around.

It can be a near depressing thought and that can’t bode well for your work week.

Here 7 sure fire ways to kick those midweek blues at the office.

Start your day with some positivity

Self-help gurus call this positive affirmation. You can refer it to as reminding yourself how awesome you are. Stand in front of the mirror and chant, “I am fierce, I am strong, I am fabulous.”

Get a chipper playlist

If you are the kind of person who has music on them at every instance, then you need your “Beat the Blues” playlist full of either funny or uplifting music.

Make plans with your crew

This will give you something to look forward to.

Treat yourself

Because you’re hardworking and you deserve nice things. (Isn’t that always the excuse?)

Do more exercise

When you exercise, your body releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t get slumps. Add more activities to your workout routine on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Remind yourself of your goals

There’s an ambition you have, that goal you’re working towards. The reason why you wake up every day and work really hard. Remind yourself why it’s worth it. Get a wallpaper of that house or land you’re working your fingers to the bone for. Make that Mercedes your screensaver.
