How to attract a woman you've just met
When it's almost love at first sight
And yes, it’s possible to get a woman you just met to be attracted to you. But men, you need to remember two things. If she says no, she means no. Don’t badger, pester, cajole or otherwise harass her. If she says no, WALK AWAY.
The other thing you need to remember is confidence. If you have it, you have a higher chance. If you don’t have it, fake it. If you are painfully shy, put yourself in a position to get her to do the talking. But that’s a topic for another day.
Here are 6 things you should do when you want to woo a woman you just met.
(This is assuming you are in a situation where conversation is possible and you are both there for a while.)
Ensure she is receptive
If she is uninterested, leave her alone.
Pickup lines are for idiots. Leave them at home. Or if you’re smart enough, use it to start a self-deprecating conversation. Offer to buy her a drink if she’s ran out and use an ongoing to start chatting with her. Like if she’s reading a book and you’re into novels too, talk to her about what she’s currently reading. If she’s listening to music, ask her about it and engage with her on her tastes.
Maintain eye contact and a respectful distance
Do NOT stare at her lips, breasts, legs, tummy… only pay attention to her eyes and what she’s saying. Keep your distance. Close enough to be interested but not far enough so she has to shout to be heard. To be safe, after you shake her hand, keep the distance between you too the length of your wrist to your elbow.
Wait until she touches you to touch her
When you’ve made her smile, laugh or get otherwise animated and she starts fondling your bicep or that flirtatious little slap or friendly punch, then you can move closer and touch her lightly. On her arm or her face. When there is a lull in the conversation or when you’re ordering another drink. Don’t interrupt her when she’s talking to do it.
If she’s drinking a specific cocktail, make sure you ask about it in the beginning and when your order her another one, get it to her specifications. If you’re at a game, you can try asking her out then and saying you’ll take her to the exact thing she’s said she’s wanted to see. Apply the same principle to say a concert, an evening out and such.
Share actual stories about yourself. Not fabrications. If you hope to have her in your life for a while, you’ll stand a better chance by not lying or embellishing.
Ask for her number with game
If you share an interest, you can ask for her number in the guise of saying you’ll call or text her when you find an event you’re both interested in. That way, even if she isn’t keen on dating, she’ll still be receptive to your overtures later. Always go in with the expectation that you may be friendly first before she agrees to much else. But ensure that you make your romantic interests clear at least after the first few conversations.
