5 reasons why it’s better to have a small circle of friends than a big one

Sometimes your circle decreases in size but increases in value.

Who wouldn’t want a lot of people to like them?

While adoration is great from a lot of people, it may not be the healthiest when it comes to building true friendships.

Here are five reasons why you should keep your circle small.

1.Less drama

It’s easier to handle drama among a small group of people as opposed to a larger group. The opinions are easier to narrow down and manage.

2.You don’t have to invest your emotions in too many people

Relationships require a lot of emotional investment. If you have many friends, it becomes hard to be emotionally available for all of them. When in a small group, you can focus better on your friendships.

3.It’s easier to trust a small group as opposed to a big one

Not all your friends have your best interests at heart. Some of them may be hand along friends that need to be left behind.

4.You can be yourself around your friends

When you have a small circle of friends, it is easier to be your true self around them. You don’t have to pretend to be someone you are not.

5.You are able to share aspirations

You get to share your aspirations with them and they help build you up. When in a big circle of friends, not everyone would want to put in too much time in helping you if you aren’t that close.
