7 reasons why you shouldn't masturbate

Hands in motion produce lotion, and a whole lot of terrible things.

All the negative effects can reduce if you cut off the indulgence.

Scary isn’t it?

Probably the one of reasons why you're doing it too, also, for experience or betterment of your sex life. However, just like everything else, too much of masturbation can be detrimental to you in various ways.

1. A limp willy

After excessively masturbating, a guy may notice that his erection is not getting as firm as it used to. This is because the mind loses it’s power of stimulation from the touch of another person. It’s not because they are doing it wrong. It’s because the body is used to a particular style of stroke to get to orgasm.

2. Skin problems

Intense rubbing on skin leads to abrasions. Similarly, excessive rubbing of your ‘hoohaa’ lead to dryness and increased sensitivity.

3. Infections

While you cannot get STI’s from pleasuring yourself, you can increase the intensity of infections and lead to their spreading from one part of the body to another. Infections such Herpes and Balanitis are common due to skin breakage from masturbation.

4. Hormonal Imbalance

Getting off releases the same hormones as sex and when overdone, it may lead to hormonal imbalances which then lead to adult acne, thinning hair, prostatis and penile dermatitis.

5. Hand pains

Carpal tunnel Syndrome is when your hands lock painfully in a particular position. It is disorder caused by compression of the media nerve as it travels through the carpal tunnel of the hand. If it occurs, it is indicated by numbness, weakness or pain in your hand due to pressure on the nerves on your wrist.

6. Guilt trips

What were you told growing up? Psychological upbringing most often than not, impact our way of thinking as adults. Normally, masturbation is abhorred and this psychological nurturing can lead to deep feelings of guilt that can affect your self-esteem.

7. Misssing social life

Have you ever been late for school, a meeting or cancelled a date just to stay in and get off? Masturbating is as addictive as a drug. One of the major sources of happiness for the brain is sex. While you may not intend to be a snub, excessive self-pleasuring can easily lead to anti-social tendencies. Also, if not all women, most of those you meet will automatically be stripped down and ‘worked on’ in your mind, which can be very uncomfortable if it’s your boss.

Luckily, most of these can be dealt with if you reduce or simply your rubbing length.
