Kelly isnt just doing this to show off (although that would be totally fair, too). Her show, Live with Kelly and Ryan is trying to break the Guinness World Record for Most Ballet Dancers En Pointe Simultaneously.
The whole thing is going to go down on Tuesday, Sept. 10, alongside American Ballet Theatre principal dancers Isabella Boylston and James Whiteside. To break the challenge, theyll need to have more than 245 people go en pointe at once and then hold it for a full minute.
Kelly and Ryan Seacrest have already put a call-out on their website for dancers to join in. JIC youre considering it, you have to be able to go to New York the day of the attempt and need to be wearing appropriate ballet attire so that the stewards and witnesses can observe and verify the attempt, the alert says. You also must wear commercially available pointe shoes. And, you know, you need to be able to actually stand on your toes for a minute.

Kelly shared last year that she works out at least four times a week, often with Kaiser, for 60 to 90-minute sessions, usually in the afternoon to accommodate her Live With Kelly and Ryan filming schedule. "I love to dance, and she loves to dance," Kaiser previously told WomensHealthMag.com.
The two do a dance cardio-focused approach, in addition to functional training and circuit training. Kelly also works hard on her core, and it shows
