After he was asked about dating Demi, Mike quickly changed the subject to talk about himself and Keke. "I made a mistake. I don't like dating in public," he said. "But if I were to ask you if we could go on a date in the public..."
Before Mike could finish, he was totally drowned out by people cheering. Keke didnt seem sure what to think of the whole thing. She covered her face with her interview card and said, "What's the next question? What's the next question?" to her co-hosts, Michael Strahan and Sara Haines.
She then turned to her co-star Michael Strahan and said, "Michael, you've got the next question!"
So maybe shell, uh, think about it?
Michael chimed in with this: "Mike, let me tell you something. Demi's my girl, I love this one here too now. You mess up and I'm coming for you. You don't want that." Sara then chimed in: "We approve."
Michael later added, "You all look real good together sitting there. I ain't gonna lie to you."
You can watch the whole daytime television cringefest go down here:
Of course, Keke isn't the first famous woman Mike has expressed interest in since losing out on Hannah Brown's heart. Back in September, Mike told Entertainment Tonight that he and Demi had been talking and went on a date. "The woman is quite astounding and amazing. And thats all Ill say on that," he said. Mike later said on the Almost Famous podcast that Demi "kisses really well." (Demi has stayed pretty quiet on the whole thing, including their current relationship statusor lack thereof.)
So, are Keke and Mike the next big thing? Dont hold your breath. Keke still didnt seem to have an answer for Mike by the time the segment ended. "I'm at work," she joked before they went to commercial.
