Teddi shared the news with Us Weekly and revealed that shes been keeping things under wraps for a little while now. "Im in my second trimester, 14 weeks," she said. "Everythings good and Im in the clear, so Im just starting to get to that point where Im sharing with everybody. Plus, now I have a bump, so theres not much more hiding Ill be able to do!"
Besides Teddi and Edwin already being parents of two, Edwin also has a 10-year-old daughter named Isabella from a previous relationship.
Teddi told the publication her kids are "so excited" about their growing family. "Theyve been talking about it for a long time and actually its been my son whos been like, Mom, we need to have another baby, and I never wanted to get his hopes up," Teddi explained. "So when we told him, he was through the roof. So excited."
Teddi said her kids are so stoked, in fact, that theyre "already calling it their baby, and they have names picked for if its a boy or a girltheyre ready!"
Teddi also shared the news on her Instagram, and was soon flooded with celebratory comments. "Congrats again Teddi," said actress Garcelle Beauvais.
"Such a blessing. Congrats honey," wrote Real Housewives of Dallas star Stephanie Hollman.
RHOBH star Erika Jayne also told Us that shes "so excited" for Teddis baby. "Im loving watching Teddis journey and cant wait to squeeze this little bundle of joy!" she said.
Teddi said she underwent IVF to conceive Slate and Cruz, but this baby was a surprise. "My husband said, I dont want to see you going through IVF again that was brutal," Teddi recalled. "It was so many rounds, but this time we really werent doing anything! I was on vacation! Just having fun with my family! It was a complete surprise. I didnt even know I was because I didnt have a regular cycle."
The couple is now thinking of buying a larger car ("Im like Were going to start having to look at minivans! Whats happening!?" Teddi said), and Teddi said shes only recently started believing shes pregnant. "Im just in the past couple weeks a little more hesitant to do things I would normally do because its sinking in that I have a baby in my belly," she said.
