Former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin is single and ready to mingle. The 44-year-old mom of eight children is back on TLC in search of love on Kate Plus Date, which premiered last week.
But you might be wondering, uh, where does Kate Gosselin live now, and what she's been up to lately?
For starters, Kate hasn't ventured far from where you last saw her on TV. She put down roots in central Pennsylvania, and she still lives there with six of her eight children in the five-bedroom home she and then-husband Jon Gosselin purchased more than 10 years ago.
The property includes nearly 24 acres of land and more than 6,000 square feet, according to Zillow , so there's plenty of space to raise a half-dozen teenagers, per Kate's blog .

Kate has plenty of room in her home for four-legged friends, as well. The family's dogs, Nanuq, Shoka, and Mak make frequent, and always adorable, appearances on Kate's Instagram feed. As cute as the pups are, Kate realized that soon all the children will head off to college and she will be all alone. "Pretty soon its just going to be me and the dogs around the house," she told Today . "If I dont want to be single, I at least have to try."

Kate also said the new Kate Plus Date show was her idea. She is reunited with her Kate Plus Eight crew, who she told Today she considers family , for the new show. No wonder she wanted to go on camera again. She also enlisted relationship experts, Rachel DeAlto and Adam LoDolce, and her twins, Mady and Cara, to help her search for love. In the first episode, the twins said, "She's very single."
From the previews it looks like they cooked up some creative dates, including her very own "Titanic moment" while sailing and exploring New York City. Kate films the show in her home in Pennsylvania and wherever her dates take her.

Kate has tried dating a few times, but her online dating profile didn't go over well. She joked in an interview with Access Live , A mom with eight kids in the middle of Pennsylvania." Kate also felt safer dating in public on the show. "I felt more scared about going into public and meeting a stranger," she told Today . "As a parent, the responsibility is greater for me to be safe."
The biggest question-did Kate find love?-still remains. She's not telling, so I'll just have to wait and see.
