Who Is Luke P. From 'The Bachelorette'—And What Does Hannah Brown See In Him?

Hannah Brown gave him the first-impression rose.

Hannah was so smitten by Luke P., she gave him the coveted first-impression rose on episode one of The Bachelorette. The feeling was mutual, and he noticed her beautiful green eyes right away. On his Instagram stories he said, "The eye contact was the first thing." But even before they met, Luke P. was attracted to Hannah when she proclaimed her faith on Colton's season.

But then Luke P. broke all the rules of 'The Bachelorette.'

Luke P. didn't waste any time connecting with Hannah. He used the L-word (gasp!) on a group date during the second episode. Hannah asked for bold, but woah! They'd barely spent an hour alone together at this point. Hannah said it best, "slow your roll."

Luke P. is competitive with the other guys in the 'Bachelor' mansion.

Whether it's a cocktail party or a group date, Luke P. doesn't back down and is always trying to get Hannah's attention on this season of The Bachlorette. Naturally, Hannah included him on a group date with a rugby game. Luke P. shined, sprinting across the field, but then his aggressive style crossed the line. Seemingly out of nowhere, he body-slammed fellow contestant Luke S. Physically, both of Hannah's suitors were fine, but the drama was out of control and Hannah was not happy about it. Luke admitted on Instagram that, "Im the first to admit I am far from perfect."

Then Luke P. and Hannah Brown had a very bad date...

The day Luke P. had been waiting for finally came, a one-on-one date with The Bachelorette. Though there's nobody around to interrupt or steal attention, the two still couldn't manage to communicate. It got so bad, Hannah asked the producers for help trying to crack Luke P. "Today was the worst a date has gone for me," she said. Yikes!

Luke P. works as an "entrepreneur" a.k.a. "import/export manager" a.k.a. "CrossFit" person.

According to his LinkedIn profile, his main job is entrepreneur. However, his bio on The Bachelorette website pegs him as an Import / Export Manager. His LinkedIn profile also notes CrossFit as a part-time job. He's also described CrossFit as his "getaway" in Instagram captions.

Luke P. apparently attended three colleges.

According to his LinkedIn, he attended Polk State College for freshman and sophomore years before transferring to High Point University and ultimately finishing his college career at Faulkner University. Luke P. studied sports management.

Luke P. played college baseball before going on 'The Bachelorette.'

He played varsity baseball for Faulkner University Eagles in Montgomery, AL, as well as the Polk State College War Eagles in Florida and High Point University Panthers in North Carolina. Even though Luke P. has moved around the South, he and Hannah both share an Alabama connection.

He's an uncle.

Luke P. posted an adorable photo on his Instagram account holding his baby niece, Kennedy. Kennedy is his brother's child and The Bachelorette contestant looks like a natural cuddling the little one. Luke P. spent this last Valentine's Day with his niece. What a great uncle!

Luke P. is also a triathlete.

In addition to CrossFit workouts and playing college baseball, Luke P. competed in a triathlon with his brother. He said it was only his second time on a road bike ever. Still, he placed second in his age group. That's pretty impressive.

He's a home chef (kind of)

One of his favorite pre-workout breakfasts is a very unique take on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. For his creative sandwich, he uses extra crunchy peanut butter, two whole eggs, two egg whites, and grape jelly.

Luke P. loves his mom.

Luke P. has a black lab named Champ. He calls him man's best friend and proves it with plenty of photos holding him in his arms. Luke P. also calls himself a big dog person.

He loves tacos.

He prefers his tacos soft and topped with guacamole and pico de gallo. Luke P. is a meat eater and goes for carnitas and steak.

There you have it. While it's not totally clear what Hannah B. sees in Luke P., the attraction is clearly there. Will he get the final rose? That remains to be seen.
