Will There Be Another Season of 'Unbelievable' on Netflix, And What Will It Be About?
So you've just binge-watched all of Netflix's Unbelievable. The season went by in a snap, but it was eight hours of pure, gripping intrigue during which you felt all the frustration and, eventually, vindication right alongside Marie, Karen, and Grace. Now, you're craving more episodes.
So...will Unbelievable return for season two or what?
Here's the bad news: There's not going to be another season of Unbelievable Season 2. That may seem, well, unbelievable, but it's the truth. A Netflix rep told Women's Health, "Its a limited series and based on the true story, alas, we wont have another season."
Staying true to its roots, the onscreen tale ended where real life did. Unbelievable fit the entire true story of multiple sexual assaults and their aftermath in just eight episodes.
Nonetheless, Unbelievable manages to accomplish so much in so little time. "It tells the story of a rape investigation gone horribly wrong and then a rape investigation gone brilliantly right," says executive producer Susannah Grant in a Netflix preview.
