In a message circulating among the scholars and seen by Pulse Live Kenya, the students will be protesting against the police brutality witnessed last week during demos, where they were demanding the release of Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.
They want the police to reveal who issued the order to brutally and sexually harass innocent student in the hostel, classroom, and libraries.
The scholars also demand compensation for their comrades who were injured during the demos.
In the circular, they highlighted that the mega protest will see the eviction of the Campus Vice Chancellor Peter Mbithi.
After the demos, Prof Mbithi came under fire after sending a tweet that was termed as insensitive.
In his post, the VC stated: “Contrary to the fake news that is circulating on social media platforms, no student or lecturer has lost his life”.
