Mutahi Ngunyi in trouble over controversial statement on Raila

Mutahi Ngunyi made the statement following the weekend killings across Nairobi.

Political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has landed in trouble over a controversial statement he made on NASA leader Raila Odinga.

Ngunyi took to his Twitter, blaming Odinga for the violence and attacks witnessed over the weekend in the city and in particular Mathare claiming the fall of the NASA leader has begun.

"This MATHARE attack has Raila's political FINGER PRINTS all over it. It is the WORK of the SABBATH of WITCHES. My 74th Column on The FALL and FALL of Raila," Ngunyi tweeted.

Odinga who visited Mathare MP Antony Oluoch who was shot in confrontations between police and Mathare locals protesting the killings, said the deaths were planned.

“What has happened today is a work of careful planning and is targeting particular people,” claimed Raila.

However, the tweet did not go down well with a section of Kenyans who branded Ngunyi as a tribalist and being a Jubilee and President Uhuru Kenyatta's sycophant aiming to protect himself from prosecution over the National Youth Service (NYS) millions.
