The two have met at the burial of former Nairobi Mayor Samuel Mbugua, father of former Nairobi Woman Representative Rachael Shebesh, at his Marion Farm House home in Kiambu.
President Kenyatta and Mr Odinga have held hard stances regarding the repeat of the presidential election, with the Nasa leader insisting that his demands must be met before the election is held afresh.
Other leaders present at the burial include Kaimbu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja, Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo, former Nyadarua Governor Waithaka Mwangi and former Nyandarua woman representative Wanjiku Muhia.

Shebesh’s father worked with Odinga at ODM, leading to the nomination of Ms Shebesh to parliament between 2007 and 2012 before she decamped to Mr Kenyatta's The National Alliance (TNA) party in 2012.
