It seems after a long time of sitting, empty talks, fidgeting, taking one step forward and two backward, finally much touted NASA vehicle has come to life, finally there is hope for NASA after Raila and Isaac Rutto Meet
Cord leader, Raila Odinga on Saturday meet with Bomet Governor, Isaac Rutto in Chepalungu and discussed Kenya's political landscape.
ODM, Chama Cha Mapinduzi party, Kanu and other opposition outfits are believed to be setting up an alliance that will unite them ahead of 2017 general elections.
The National Super alliance (NASA) is a formidable initiative and should it came to pass will give Jubilee a run for its money.
Chama cha mapinduzi is expected to water down the Deputy President William Ruto's influence in his South Rift Valley backyard, add Kanu in the mix which has been enjoying a resurgence recently in parts of larger Baringo and the anti-Ruto, anti-Jubilee concoction may just be too potent to kick Jubilee out of power.
After the ‘fruitful meeting’, Isaac Rutto said they had discussed among other things, matters of national interest and devolution.
The opposition leader later posted pictures of him and Rutto on Facebook which elicited warm reactions from Kenyans.
“Kudos the father of democracy for striking a political deal” Chicharito Iddy posted
“Change has come..this is time for change” James Wekesa added.
“NASA is the solution” Mazito Ali posted.
Raila Odinga is also expected to meet with the former president, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi during a thanks giving ceremony for former Amagoro MP, Oduya Oprong' in Teso North sub county in Busia.
