Two people died on Friday evening after a tanker burst into flames, along the Narok-Mai Mahiu road.

According to reports, the two who lost their lives were the driver and the conductor of the tanker who were burnt to death.
Narok East County Commissioner Athure Bunde who confirmed the incident said that the accident occurred after the tanker lost control and hit two oncoming vehicles along the road, before it rolled.
The tanker is then reported to have immediately caught fire.

Rushed to hospital
Occupants of the other vehicles were rushed to the Narok County Referral Hospital where they received treatment.
Fire fighters from Narok County helped in putting out the fire.
Officers from Ntulele Police station said that the accident occurred at a notorious black spot in the area.
