3 dead in grisly accident

Three people have died in a grisly accident that occurred on Sunday morning along the Mombasa-Malindi highway.

Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that an over speeding car hit guardrails before hitting pedestrians, a few meters from the Nyali Bridge.

The three who lost their lives are said to have died on the spot while four others were rushed to hospital.

Confirming the incident, Kisauni OCPD Christopher Limo said that the car was heading towards the North Coast when the accident occurred.

2 dead

This comes a day after two people died on the spot while several others were rushed to hospital after a lorry rammed into a 14 seater matatu along the Kangundo-Nairobi road.

Kangundo OCPD Benjamin Ongombe confirmed that some of the passengers who were injured were rushed to Kangundo Level 4 Hospital as others who sustained minor injuries were rushed to Nguluni Health Centre where they were attended to.
