5 Police Reservists killed in ambush
Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke say that Police Reservists were killed after they were ambushed by cattle rustlers.
According to Baringo County Commissioner Henry Wafula, who confirmed the incident, the five were killed in a suspected cattle rustling attack on Thursday morning at around 3 am and an unknown number of cattle stolen.
further reports said that two other people who were injured during the attack were rushed to Marigat Sub-County hospital, where they are recuperating.
The attack comes barely two months after another bandit attack that had a 14 year-old lose his life in Kobirbir village in Kolokwa and 82 cattle stolen.
The armed raiders were reported to have attacked the village at around 4pm while the boy was giving water to the livestock and they shot him dead.
The bandits were suspected to be from Marakwet.
