Drama as one of the mothers in Kakamega twins saga forcefully takes away her daughter

The mother stormed the home in the company of police officers

Angelina Omina, Kangemi mother separates daughter from Kakamega mother

There was a sad but dramatic incident on Friday morning after one of the mothers in the viral Kakamega twins story forcefully took her biological order, just days after DNA results were announced.

Angelina Omina, the biological mother of Melvis Imbaya, stormed the home where her daughter had chosen to live with the biological mother of the twins – Rosemary Onyango.

Melvis had been brought by Rosemary – on the belief that she was the twin sister to Melon Lutenyo.

However, DNA results showed that Melon Lutenyo and Sharon Mathias were twins who were switched at birth.

Sharon, who had lived with Angelina in Kangemi, had requested to live with her twin in Kakamega alongside Melvis.

While the two families had initially agreed to the arrangement, Angelina stormed the Kakamega home in the company of police officers and sought to forcefully take away her biological mother.

This was despite Melvis’ insistence that she did not want to be separated with the mother who raised her.

Kakamega County Police Commander Bernard Muli confirmed the incident but advised the family to solve their differences amicably.

Sharon and Melon met on Facebook in 2018 and started a friendship based on their close resemblance.
