The billionaire was reported to have gone missing between July 19 and July 20 this year in unclear circumstances.
DCI George Kinoti confirmed that the body was found in a septic tank on Friday.
His Kenyan wife Sarah Wairimu Kamotho is currently in police custody over the puzzle of the missing tycoon.

DCI added that her charges would be reviewed to include murder of the tours and travel businessman.
Cohen had reported cases of assault against his wife
While reporting her husband's alleged mysterious disappearance, Sarah had told police that her husband had left the home to seek medical treatment.
"He said he was taking a break. Lawyers were pushing him for money and he wanted to seek medical treatment," she stated.

Cohen had been seeking a divorce from his wife. In addition, he had filed reports on assault against Sarah over past incidences.

A letter allegedly written to Cohen's divorce lawyers dated July 18 gave instructions on withdrawing the divorce case.
"After a long discussion with my wife and family today, I wish to withdraw and cancel the divorce case proceedings with immediate effect. My medical state and wrong advice from friends and other lawyers and activists made me vindictive towards her. Sarah would never hurt anyone and she stood for the truth, which I did not want to see. Because of my bitterness and poor judgement I have hurt and created a lot of damage to her and the entire family," the letter read in part.
Sarah was earlier in the week ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation before her trial commences.
